本作はナナトエリ・亀山聡によるマンガ「僕の妻は発達障害」を実写化したもの。マンガ家アシスタントの悟との新婚生活を過ごしていた知花が、発達障害という診断を受けながらも、自分の特性と向き合おうと前向きに歩く姿を描く。。"Alone" follows a writer seeking peace and solitude in the countryside in an attempt to recover from tragedy and finish her book. However, as the welcoming country house turns into a living hell, she soon realizes that her inner demons are not the worst of her problems.。
