一家从事美食节目的电影公司收到一张神秘DVD，在附赠的纸条上，写着“见者死”，更为可怕的是，对这张DVD有兴趣的AD居然真的神秘自杀身亡。感到可疑的同事们马上开展调查，这张DVD看起来只是没有什么看头的风景影像，但在这背后潜藏的恐怖力量，在年轻人的疯狂尖叫中，死亡逐渐降临……。Fårö Document 1979 is the ten-year followup to the first documentary Bergman made about his adopted home, Fårö, where he filmed many of his best works and lived until the end of his life。
