Soon a number of mysterious and horrifying events start to expose the cracks in their relationships, and one by one they discover that trust runs but skin-dee...。明嘉靖年间，东瀛倭寇犯我疆土，百姓深受其害，平安镖局也卷入其中。倭寇大举侵略东辽，大明使臣安公朴（李华 饰）自朝鲜返回途中遭遇倭寇至今下落不明，千户大人令锦衣卫王兆兴（吴奇隆 饰）找到安公朴，护送至辽中千户营。找到安公朴后，一干人马奔辽阳而去，但脱险后的安公朴视沿途百姓求救声而不见，只顾自身逃命。平安镖局副总镖头谷平安（王鸥 饰）不堪目睹百姓沦亡，自愿免费护送百姓去辽阳。途中遭日本忍者追杀，谷平安和王兆兴以民族大义为重，摒弃前嫌联手与倭寇拼杀。倭寇的穷追不舍令王兆兴生疑，他逼安公朴说出此行的真相，被逼无奈的安公朴终于吐露了内心的秘密......。
