宋·皇祐三年，涿郡府泗水县，因人口大量走失而引起民怨发生叛乱，县令宗朝虽将叛乱镇压，但走失的人口始终无法找回，刑部卧底遒辛治受太尉陆判官之命，顶替被暗杀的周广泗水帮帮主，通过卧底身份帮派搜集情报，从而调查人口走失案。 遒辛治凭借酷似周广的外貌混入泗水帮，始终感觉杀机四伏。果不其然，遒辛治刚着手调查就遭遇暗杀，于是，卧底遒辛治与总铺头霄离渊一明一暗联手查案。但因案件错踪复杂，而遒辛治天马行空，乱拳打死老师傅似的破案方案，令霄离渊头痛不已。历经冲冲危险，最终案件终于得以侦破，遒辛治却放弃恢复身份，选择继续卧底生涯，踏上侦破新案件的征途。。During the cold and rainy off-season a man arrives in a seaside town and, giving his name only as Pierre, checks into the only hotel which remains open. His arrival arouses curiosity and a degree of suspicion, as people note that he appears to know the area, yet gives no explanation for his presence at that bleak time of year in the dead-end town.。
