I went to theater to see some mind-blowing action. I was hoping that Åke Lindman had made something spectacular as his last movie. I also believed in his directing talents. Now I sadly have to say that the movie didn't fulfill my expectations. The movie was a bit bouncing: Going there, doing that, coming ...。作为一部青春剧，"My So-Called Life"真实的展现了年轻人生活中的困扰，因为太灰暗而情绪化，以及当时较低的收视率，才播出了19集就被ABC电视台取消。Claire Danes这位“朱丽叶”妹妹演女主角，并因此角色获得了金球奖。。
