故事的发生地，呼应了《我爱我家》中的杨柳社区，是一个名为杨柳新城的养老社区，里面住着性格迥异的长者，虽已至“耳顺”之年，但仍活力满满，乐于尝试新鲜玩意，剧本杀、拍电影、搞直播、黄昏恋也谈得火热，甚至在养老社区里办起了婚礼……六个大学生志愿者融入了长者们的生活，两代人的观念、习惯碰撞也是看点满满。。宋因原生家庭重男轻女严重，为保女儿性命，偷龙转凤，不料因护士的意外，女儿被平民王建国捡起抚养。长大后王云星顶替其身份，并陷害其养父。王小星为救重病父亲，坚持不懈的想揭穿堂姐的真面目，回归家庭。。Finding herself the victim of a violent monster attack, Jane launches a vigilante campaign to hunt the beast that tried to kill her.
