《我爱美人鱼》是由日本巨星酒井法子赴台拍摄的一部浪漫奇幻电视剧。剧中酒井法子饰演了一位善良、纯真、可爱的小美人鱼美美。一次偶然的机会，美美救了在海边冲浪不慎溺水的青年少奇，并在海底拾得少奇佩戴的一块玉。美美经过龟伯伯和鱼婆婆的指点，上岸找到了少奇，并在人间发生了不少离奇曲折的故事。其它主要演员还有台湾的著名演员秦风、苏明明、陈俊生、金铭等。本剧在90年代中期引进内地各大电视台播放后立刻获得了很高的收视率，还刮起了一股“酒井法子”风。遗憾的是台湾片商与日本电视台争夺版权时销毁了母带，导致此剧绝版，令不少影迷为之惋惜。。The epic adventures of the legendary Baran the Bandit following his release from prison. After serving 35 years, it is no surprise that the world has changed dramatically. Still, Baran can't help but be shocked to discover that his home village is now underwater thanks to the construction of a new dam.
