刚刚结束的第75届威尼斯电影节(2018)地平线单元开幕片，真实事件改编，电影主人公的原型是意大利青年StefanoCucchi，2009年10月15日，他因携带毒品被警方逮捕，但是在被捕后短短六天的时间里，他的健康状况急剧恶化，并于当月22日死于监狱中。StefanoCucchi的死因至今是个谜，而他的家人仍然没有放弃寻找真相......。Try as he might, the roguishly handsome Cliff Starkey, just can't keep out of trouble. In his sleepy home town on the English coast, nothing much inspires him...apart from bowls. Cliff has always preferred to play by his own rules much to the disapproval of the regimented, elderly bowls fraternity.
